Gabrielisa Garcia, A New York City based hairstylist with over seventeen years of experience. In the hair industry, she is known as Gaby. She earned a BA in Sociology along with working NYC salons including Pierre Michel, Bumble & Bumble and Elizabeth Arden’s The Red Door Salon and Spa. In recent years, she shares her time working editorial, beauty and fashion shoots. Specializing in haircutting and styling is specifically customized to clients needs.
WORK
Freelancing and editorial work is part of her active lifestyle while collaborating with fashion models or other artists. Gaby has also worked in Campaigns with Doordash and Complex.
Styling celebrities including Jonathan Cheban, Ana Gasteyer, Tate Donovan, Aurora Perrineau and models such as Samile Bermannelli and Megan Gabrielle has expanded her creative work. She worked the shows assisting in New York’s Fashion week for Michael Kors, Prabal Gurung, Burnett, Gaunlett Cheng and many more.
LIFESTYLE
Gabrielisa was introduced to yoga as a healing practice many years ago.
To restore balance, she cultivates qualities of heart-body-mind. Through meditation practice she learns how to hold emotions with care and invites us to explore this sense of belonging.
